It’s ‘Cool!’ It’s Water Taxi Winter!

“Water Taxi Summer” was the hit song of the summer. It was so good you knew there was going to be a sequel. To celebrate the Water Taxi’s newly expanded West Seattle sailing schedule for the colder months, we’re excited to debut “Water Taxi Winter.”

Thanks to all the riders dancing to the beat and reminding everyone that a ride on the Water Taxis is as easy as scanning your ORCA card.

Hop aboard and enjoy a 15-minute ride across Elliott Bay while enjoying panoramic views of the Seattle city skyline, Mount Rainier, and the Olympics. After the sun sets, take the Water Taxi to view the winter lights of downtown Seattle from Alki.

Thanks to Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) funding, this winter Water Taxi service is running seven day a week service between Seacrest Park in West Seattle and downtown Seattle’s Pier 50 from approximately 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. (REMINDER: Shuttle routes 773 and 775 will operate only during weekday peak commutes.)

Remember, you can bring your bike onto the Water Taxi. Our bike racks hold regular, “fat tire,” and e(lectric) bikes!

Per federal regulations, masks are still required on the Water Taxi.
