‘Tis the season for Transit, and King County Metro and Sound Transit are adding bus, train and water taxi service to help fans travel to and from sold-out Taylor Swift concerts this weekend in Seattle July 22 and 23.

Do you need to Run to Seattle this weekend? Do you know stadium traffic jams All Too Well (even the 10 minute versions)? Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour comes to Lumen Field this Saturday and Sunday July 22 and 23, but you can be Fearless: King County Metro and partner agencies are here to help make sure fans are Ready for It.

Fans can leave their Getaway Car at home or the park-and-ride, and board the region’s fast and frequent public transportation network with expanded service. Sound Transit’s Link 1 Line will run later trains past Midnights after both shows, Water Taxi riders will be Enchanted with two late-night water taxi trips to West Seattle. Metro’s added trips for not quite 22 Metro bus routes to help with post-concert crowds. And as a reminder, every kid in King County (including if you’re Fifteen) can ride transit for free.

“If you forgot that transit existed, this weekend is a great chance to get on board and enter your Transit era,” said Executive Constantine. “You don’t have to cry like a baby coming home from the show – use Metro and Sound Transit to avoid the traffic and have a great night at the concert.”

A post-concert Metro connector shuttle traveling along Alaskan Way, Third and Fourth avenues also will help riders leaving Lumen Field travel into the downtown core to better reach hotels and other bus and rail service. Board the shuttle on northbound First Ave South, near South Charles Street as you exit Lumen Field.  A King County Metro Supervisor will be present to help answer questions and assist customers.

Sound Transit Link Light Rail: Sound Transit will be running late-night Link light rail service until 1:40 a.m. after each of the two concert nights to help fans travel back home more easily. On July 22 and 23, 1 Line trains will run:

• Start of Service – 8 a.m. – Every 12 minutes
• 8 a.m. – 10 p.m. – Every 10 minutes
• 10 p.m. – 1:40 a.m. – Every 15 minutes

Water Taxi: Heading home to West Seattle after the concert? The King County Water Taxi is scheduled to sail from Pier 50 at 11:45 p.m. and 12:15 a.m. after each of the concerts.  Metro’s post-concert Downtown Shuttle will take passengers directly to the Water Taxi dock at Pier 50.

Bus routes: Metro and Sound Transit bus routes 545, 550, 554, as well as RapidRide Lines C, D and H will have added trips to help meet rider demand after the concerts.

Sounder: Event trains will operate on Saturday, July 22, for the 6:30 p.m. concert.

• From the south, the inbound Sounder S Line event train departs Lakewood at 3:11 p.m. The train will stop at all Sounder S Line stations and arrives at King Street Station at 4:27 p.m.
• From the north, the inbound N Line event train from Snohomish County departs Everett at 3:45 p.m. with stops in Mukilteo and Edmonds, arriving at King Street Station at 4:44 p.m.
• Both return trains depart 35 minutes after the conclusion of the concert.
