The King County Water Taxi is ready to get you from Vashon and West Seattle throughout the holiday season, with midday sailings from West Seattle seven days a week.

As you make your holiday travel plans, we want to make sure you know when the water taxi will not be in service.

The Water Taxi will not sail on:

• Thursday, November 23 (Thanksgiving) and Friday, November 24
  
• Christmas Day, Monday, December 25. Last sailing for the West Seattle Water Taxi on Christmas Eve, Sunday, December 24, is at 6:30 p.m. from Pier 50 to West Seattle and 7:00 p.m. from West Seattle to downtown.
  
• New Year’s Day, Monday, January 1, 2024. Last sailing on New Year’s Eve, Sunday, December 31, is at 6:30 p.m. from Pier 50 to West Seattle and 7:00 p.m. from West Seattle to downtown.

The Water Taxi is a great way to enjoy the winter sun for walks along Alki or a holiday lunch on the downtown Seattle waterfront. Youth 18 and younger sail for free! For additional information on the winter sailing schedule and fares, go to the Water Taxi webpage.
