It’s time to “PLAY BALL!!”

Spring is here and so is the excitement of Seattle Mariners Baseball!

The 2024 season opens with a visit from the Boston Red Sox on March 28. Pack your glove—and maybe a warm coat for the first couple of weeks—but leave your car at home. Getting to T-Mobile Park using transit can be as easy as Julio Rodriguez tracking down a fly ball in centerfield!

Get your travel plans ready. This season will include the annual visit from the Yankees, interleague action with the Chicago Cubs and the Philadelphia Phillies and continuing our rivalry with the World Series champs Texas Rangers.

Don’t get caught in a rundown, map out your route

King County Metro’s one-stop shop has everything you need to take transit to the game.

Start your game day by planning your trip to the game by using Trip Planner  and Text for Departures  (text your bus stop number to 62550).

In response to customer feedback, this season there will be an extra trip on the RapidRide D Line and on  Route 554 for Mariners games!

If you’re coming from south King County or North Seattle, Link Light Rail is an awesome connection to T-Mobile. Metro has routes that will connect you to the light rail stops along the 1 Line.

We also have maps that can help ensure you won’t “strike out” as you make your way into Pioneer Square.

West Seattle fans can be true “Mariners” traveling to games

Relax before the game by riding the West Seattle Water Taxi  over to downtown and make the walk, roll or scoot from Pier 50 to T-Mobile.

For the first homestand of the season, the Water Taxi will have extended service Thursday, Friday and Saturday

Post-game trip home?  Remember, Water Taxi service ends at 7:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday. But don’t worry, after the game, take a stroll back to Alaskan Way S. at S. Jackson St. and catch a bus back to West Seattle, with the RapidRide C Line, the RapidRide H Line or other routes).

How to pay: 

You don’t want to miss any of the action, so use your ORCA Card to help board quickly. Don’t have an ORCA Card yet? MyOrca.com is the place to go to purchase a card. If you want to use your mobile device to pay your fare, download the Transit GO Ticket app on your mobile device prior to boarding.

Water Taxi fares for adults is $5.75 one way ($5 with an ORCA card). If you ride the bus after the game, that will cost you $2.75.
