Meet Julia and Hannah, our Marketing Interns for this summer!

Hannah is from Arkansas and studies Economics and Psychology at Kenyon College in Ohio. Julia is from Auburn, Wash., and studies Marketing at the University of Washington Tacoma.

Through this internship, Julia and Hannah wish to gain marketing experience by applying the concepts they have learned in college in the business world.

They are working hard this summer to ensure riders get all of the information needed to make riding the Water Taxi this summer—and all year — easy and fun. Whether you are visiting the area, commuting to work, or enjoying an outing, the Water Taxi is always a wonderful way to spend your day.

Julia is currently a senior at the University of Washington Tacoma and is pursuing a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. She desires to become a Marketing Director after graduating. She enjoys baking, exploring the great Pacific Northwest, and spending time with family and friends. Throughout her summers, she also volunteers at kids’ camps and attends mission trips to Guaymas in Sonora, Mexico.

Hannah is a junior at Kenyon College pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Psychology, and hoping to continue her education at law school or business school after graduation. She believes that this internship will help her gain exposure in business and marketing while also strengthening her understanding of what it’s like to work for a public sector. In her spare time, she enjoys playing rugby with her friends and volunteering at local animal shelters and food banks.
