The Water Taxi continues its seven-days a week service throughout the winter, with the exception of certain holidays. To help you prepare, here’s the sailing schedule for the King County Water Taxi for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s.

The Water Taxi will not sail on:

• Thursday, November 24 (Thanksgiving) and Friday, November 25
• Sunday, December 25 (Christmas Day) and Monday December 26 (Christmas Day Observed) Last sailing for the West Seattle Water Taxi on Saturday, December 24 is at 6:30 p.m. from Pier 50 to West Seattle and 7:00 p.m. from West Seattle to downtown.
• Sunday January 1, 2023 (New Year’s Day) and Monday January 2, 2023 (New Year’s Day Observed) Last sailing on Saturday, December 31 is at 6:30 p.m. from Pier 50 to West Seattle and 7:00 p.m. from West Seattle to downtown.

The Water Taxi is a great way to enjoy the winter sun for walks along Alki or a holiday lunch on the downtown Seattle waterfront. Youth 18 and younger get to ride for free! For additional information on the winter sailing schedule and fares, go to the Water Taxi webpage.
